A Miracle of Birth volunteer shows off one of the newest additions. For many fair visitors - children and adults - the Birthing Tent was visited several times a day during their trip to the fair just to see if new babies had been born. Fairgoers were treated to many new arrivals this year in the Miracle of Birth exhibit. Throughout the week visitors were able to watch live births of a variety of farm animals, including calves, piglets, lambs, and lots of chicks. The MSU Extension office was again responsible for the huge success of the Birthing Tent and estimates that over 40,000 people visited during fair week. |
